Forms of Storytelling

What kind of Storyteller are you?

I’ve decided to dedicate my blog to the different forms of Storytelling in today’s media. Most of us tell a story by literally telling a story. Yet other people, especially people in the media like to tell a story through their music, their writing and/or their art.

What this blog is basically showing how a story is portrayed through those different types of media.

Like how in music, Adele’s 21 was about a terrible break up or how Taylor Swift can literally make a story out of anything into a Grammy award-winning chart topper. Music has been in our history for as long as we can remember. We’ve been singing and writing songs and daydreaming about being someone who can send a message across through their music.

In art, the c athedrals are basically stone bible’s and how in literature, an author such as Roald Dahl and J.K. Rowling can write stories that we as people get lost in an adventurous sea of words and someone else’s imagination. Even why we doodle when we’re not paying attention in class.

Writing gives us a chance not only to tell us a story, but it also gives us a chance to escape reality. It gives us a chance to create something that’ll open other readers into our personal lives anonymously.

You can definitely share some of your own forms of art on the site and answer to polls.
